One thing is certain… that’s how you launch a radio station in this day and age. Whoever produced that launch deserves a pat on the back. Excellent work, my friend. Great sounding station from what I heard. Tampa Bay just got hotter!

I think the format change will give a serious boost to Q-105 as the demographic for 101.5 was pretty much 40-60 yr olds. I tuned in a couple of times on the weekend and have no use for the type of music 101.5 is playing now. I’m sure they will find a new audience, but I’m equally sure they will lose 99% of their existing audience. That is one risky business model !!!!

Wouldn’t the demise of “The Point” also give 107.3 The Eagle a boost. Even 107.3 is another Classic Hits station with 80’s on the playlist.
